Celebrating Our 33rd Season!

The Dance Company was started in 1990 and began as a small neighborhood dance studio. At The Dance Company, students are taught dance in a caring, patient & positive learning environment. We also instruct our students in age appropriate technique, costuming and choreography. Safe teaching methods as well as proper technique are emphasized throughout all forms of dance. In 1999, The Dance Company moved to its current location in the Woodcrest Plaza, conveniently located near the Woodcrest, Orangecrest, Lake Matthews and Alessandro Heights areas of Riverside. The Dance Company studios are air conditioned and feature floating wood dance floors. We instruct dancers aged 18mos to adult, and can work with all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. There is also a dancewear boutique for your dancing needs.

The Dance Company Instructors

Instructors at The Dance Company have a variety of styles and backgrounds. All of our instructors have either completed a college degree, or are working towards one. Many of our instructors are working in the dance industry and keeping current with today's trends! In addition, our teachers have many years of experience working with all age groups and this experience is demonstrated with each class your child attends! The Dance Company chooses its instructors by the way they exemplify its philosophy of caring, patient and positive instruction, and use their dynamic personalities to inspire and challenge our dancers.

Performances

The Dance Company produces at least two performances a year: a Holiday production in December and our end of the year performance in the month of June. The performances are held in theaters where the students get the full experience of a theatrical performance.

Dancewear Boutique

The Dance Company's boutique provides the highest quality of dancewear. We are an authorized retailer of Body Wrappers and So Danca, industry leaders in high-quality dancewear apparel and shoes. We carry leotards, skirts, pants, tights, and tops in children's and adult sizes. Special orders are no problem. Volume discounts are offered for dance teams, theatrical groups, liturgical/sacred dance groups and recital dancewear/costume needs.
